How the Antalya climate tires the skin, and how often care is needed

Humidity, sun and air conditioning block pores and unsettle the tone. Care intervals by season, and the small things you can do at home.

In Antalya the skin deals with two things for most of the year: sun and humidity. Air conditioning in summer and wind in winter are added to that. The result is usually blocked pores, the look of uneven tone and tired skin at the end of the day.

How often should care be done?

For most skin a regular monthly session is enough. In July and August, when oiliness increases, the interval can drop to three weeks; in winter it can stretch to six. The content of the session changes with the season too: cleansing and pores in summer, moisture and nourishment in winter.

What helps at home?

A gentle cleanser and sun protection in the morning, and complete makeup removal in the evening. Peeling should not be done more than once a week; done too often, the skin produces more oil to protect itself. In an air conditioned space, a hydrating mist during the day makes a difference.

What we do at the studio

Every session starts with a skin analysis; whatever the skin needs that day is what we choose. Deep pore cleansing, bio peeling, tone evening serums and the carboxy mask are the steps we use most. No makeup is worn for 24 hours after the session.

In Antalya, facial care needs to follow the season: more frequent and purifying in summer, less frequent and nourishing in winter. You can send a photo of your skin and ask which care would suit you.
